Pomegranates of AKO variety, cultivar famous for its beneficial properties on human health, agricultural cultivated with the Israeli matrix techniques.
This cultivar has a preservation period which may last a few months in a controlled environment conditions. It is considered the earliest variety among those on the market, the fruit ripens in late August.
Estimated production for the campaign in 2016 = about 2000 tons.
